Every day brings new advancements to Kylas as we introduce new features that you don’t want to miss. The March 2024 edition of Kylas Sales CRM brings you the features you have been waiting for to enhance your team’s productivity. In this release, our features will:
- Improve customer experience
1. Features in this Release:
1.1. Field Sales Management
Managing your field sales team just got easier and more efficient with Kylas. With this new feature update, you can keep your field sales team more coordinated, accountable, and productive.
With Kylas field sales management, your field executives can easily mark themselves as ‘Available’ or ‘Unavailable’ at the start and end of the day from anywhere.
As a reporting manager, you can easily track your team’s live location and get an overview of their entire day on a map. Also, you can get information about your team’s activities, from the total distance traveled and areas covered to the number of meetings attended.
Kylas lets you easily obtain all the details you need about each meeting- how long it lasted, where it happened, and what to do next- all without having to call your team. Furthermore, you can use this info to help your sales team plan the next steps and close more deals.
For example, if it’s pre-decided that all your field sales agents have to be available for 8 hours a day and attend at least 4 client meetings each day, you can check it in Kylas and track their activities.
1.2. Share Meeting Access
It happens many times that when you create a meeting, you forget to invite all the people who are needed for the meeting. But thanks to Kylas’s new feature update, you can invite any user to the meeting even after it was created some time again. And not just you, but all the meeting invitees can share the meeting with other users.
For instance, if one of the meeting invitees realizes that a sales rep from another team should also attend a meeting about improving their sales, he can share that meeting with him.
Previously in Kylas, only the reporting manager of the meeting organizer could see that his reportee was organizing a meeting. The reporting managers of other meeting attendees had no information about the meetings that were not organized by their reportees.
But with the new Kylas feature, the reporting managers of all the attendees will also know that their reportees are invited to a meeting organized by someone else.
For instance, if you want your rep to attend a meeting with a client, you can check if he has organized or is supposed to attend a meeting and plan your meeting accordingly.
1.4. Bulk Actions on “Company” and “Meeting”
Now you don’t have to export or delete meetings and companies one by one. The new Kylas feature update lets you export or delete your meetings and companies in bulk. You just have to select all the records and choose an action to be performed.
For instance, if you need to delete multiple companies that were created for demo purposes only, you can select all of them, all you need to do is click on the delete button.
It happens that some leads keep sitting in your system for days and weeks with no one bothering about them. Sometimes, it also happens that you want to edit some fields of the leads that were created on a particular date.
Such entities are stored in your system and have certain fields by default such as task due on, meeting scheduled on, latest activity on, etc. With Kylas, you can take actions on these entities based on such internal meta fields in the workflow.
All you have to do is set up an escalation type of workflow and set conditions as per your requirements.
For example, if the last activity on some leads was 2 days ago, you can set up workflows to ask your team members to take action on these leads.
1.6. Advanced Listing Page Enhancements
To improve your user experience, Kylas has introduced some listing page enhancements that you have been waiting for.
It’s bothersome to scroll back and forth to cross-check if you are checking the details of the right record or not. The results can be bad if you use the wrong information. But now, you can freeze any number of columns on the deal, company, lead, and contact listings pages.
This will help you scroll to the right and be sure that you are on the right record.
Also, you don’t have to worry about finding a record in the list all over again after you have opened it. The record that you have opened earlier will automatically be highlighted when you come back to the listing page.
When you are working on a deal or a company, you want to get an overview of the associated contact. But instead of going back to the contact listing page, you can now simply hover over it and obtain all the information about the record.
For instance, when you are checking a deal and suddenly release that you were supposed to call the contact. You can hover over the contact and click to call that contact directly.
1.8. Multiple User Check-in on Meetings
It happens many times that sales reps are in a meeting, but their reporting managers schedule another meeting for them at the same time. To avoid this, Kylas now lets the reporting managers know that their reportees are attending another meeting.
For example, whenever a sales rep joins a meeting, his reporting manager will get the information that this particular sales rep is in a meeting. So, if he wants his rep to be present in some other meeting, he can schedule it when the rep is available or let someone else attend it.
1.9. View User Hierarchy Structure
Now, you can set up a hierarchy view on users to get the right data at the right time. With the new feature, you can check the hierarchy of each user and assign them tasks accordingly.
For instance, if you want to assign a task to a rep in another team, you can check the hierarchy structure to see who his/her reporting manager is to take the permission and assign the task as per the requirement and availability.
1.10. Reorder and Rename Pipeline Stages
If you feel the need to reorder or rename your pipeline stages, you can do that easily with Kylas. Don’t worry about the data because it will be safe in the pipeline stage as it was.
For instance, if you have a pipeline stage named “contacted” but you want to change it to “connected”, you can do that easily.
1.11. Product Units On Deals and Quotations
For detailed information about a product, you can now use the ‘unit’ field. You can select the appropriate product unit (such as kilogram, liter, etc.) and add it to the product details. Whenever someone selects that product while creating a deal or quotation, they will also see the unit. This way, users will understand that the mentioned price is per a specific unit.
For instance, if you sell raw materials to other companies and the price is set per kilogram, you can choose ‘kilogram’ as the unit when sending the quotation to your customers.
1.12. New Filter Options on Records
It’s true that all records are not created the same. Sometimes, there is a missing phone number in a lead. Sometimes, there is a missing email from a company. Filtering these records was once a problem but not anymore.
Kylas’s new feature lets you filter your leads, contacts, and companies even if they don’t have certain details.
For instance, if you want to know how many leads don’t have a phone number, you can simply apply the filter and find out.
