1. Features in this Release:
1.1 Web
1.1.1. Layouts on Company
All companies you deal with are not the same. This means you need to collect a different set of information for each company, creating a challenge with a default company layout. This is why Kylas has recently introduced layouts for company.
Now, you can organize Kylas with unique company layouts for each sales process using custom fields. This new feature allows your reps to work independently, filling out forms based on their profiles/roles. Additionally, you can decide which details to display on your company details page.
This feature enables you to create companies with accurate data, reducing the risk of errors and allowing you to use the information as per your requirements.
For instance, if you deal with both small businesses and enterprise clients, you can create layouts tailored to each. The layout for small businesses may emphasize budget constraints and specific software needs, while the enterprise layout may focus on scalability, integration requirements, and complex decision-making processes. This way, your reps can efficiently capture and utilize relevant information tailored to the unique characteristics and needs of each client type.
1.1.2. Smart-List and Relative Time Filter on Task
As a salesperson, you have to perform several tasks on a daily basis. In most cases, you can group your tasks into different categories and track them. To assist you with this, Kylas has recently introduced Smart Lists for tasks.
This means you can now create custom task lists using filters and save your tasks in a Smart List. This will help you keep your tasks organized and provide an overview of what you are looking for.
Additionally, you can find relative time filters in the options. This allows you to track past data with reference to the current date. If desired, you can also save this filter to your Smart List.
For example, suppose you want to determine the number of tasks your team completed in the last 7 days. You can easily apply the filter and select the ‘Last 7 Days’ option to obtain the necessary information.
1.1.3. Workflow on Email
When your business processes depend on emails, you cannot risk missing important communication. This is crucial, especially when timely follow-ups with customers are necessary. To address this, Kylas has introduced workflows for emails.
This allows you to reach out to your customers even when you are away from your system. All you need to do is set up an email workflow based on specific conditions and define actions to be performed accordingly.
For instance, if you wish to send a follow-up email to your customers after they have opened the brochure email you sent, you can set up an email workflow for that.
1.1.4. Send Automated Emails to the Reporting Manager
Sometimes, writing emails to your reporting manager is not as easy as it is important to send them. You may be stuck, but some emails just can’t wait. This is why Kylas has come up with its latest feature that lets you send automated emails to your reporting manager.
All you have to do is set up workflows and choose the “Reporting To” option to send emails to your immediate reporting manager.
For instance, if you win a deal and mark it as “won” in the CRM, you can send an automated email to your immediate reporting manager to update them about it.
1.1.5. Open Records in a New Tab
We know how troublesome it can be when you have to go back and forth to the record listing page while performing tasks on multiple records. Thanks to the new Kylas feature, you won’t have to bother again.
What we mean is that you can open your records in a new tab. All you have to do is press the Control key and click on the record you want to open.
For instance, If you have to update multiple records but can’t afford to waste time going back and forth, you can simply open multiple records in different tabs while preserving the main page.
1.1.6. Know When Your Email Account Disconnects
Due to some reasons, your email account may get disconnected from Kylas. However, as it shouldn’t become a big problem for you, Kylas now sends you an email to update you that your email has been disconnected, and you need to connect again.
For example, if you change your email password, your email may disconnect from Kylas. But you will receive an email about it, and you can easily reconnect your email again.
1.2. Mobile
1.2.1. Direct Task, Meeting, Call Log Access
Now, you can easily access and open your tasks, meetings, and call logs with a link shared with you. All you need is to have the same account opened in your Kylas mobile app.
For instance, if your manager shares a task link with you that you need to provide an update on, you can click on the link and see what the task is and update your manager.
